Each semester we have graduate-level counseling unpaid internships available in each of our 9 offices throughout Texas and in our 3 programs. If you are currently in a master’s program in Professional Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Social Work and would like to have an opportunity to intern at STARRY, please fill out our intern inquiry form. We see children, teens, and families in individual and family therapy, as well as parenting and youth skills classes. STARRY also offers a bachelor’s level unpaid internship and typically works with students in Social Work, Psychology, or Child Development, although we are open to other areas of interest. Bachelor’s level interns may be responsible for calling clients for their feedback and experience in the program, assisting with group preparation and planning, creating a warm and inviting waiting room experience for clients, or many other service related tasks.
